What generation costs
The subscription pays for the service itself: the studio, built-in free AI and voices, competitor search, video rendering and project storage. Works out of the box — no API keys needed. Add your own keys for premium quality (Claude, ElevenLabs, paid image models); then you pay those providers directly at their rates, with no markup from us. Videos are rendered in your browser, not on our server.
With the built-in free services a Short costs you nothing extra. Optional premium, per 45–60 second Short (provider prices, subject to change):
- Claude (Anthropic), optional — noticeably better scripts, hooks and texts than the built-in free AI: usually $0.2–0.6 per Short. Claude Opus 5.5 costs $4 per 1M input and $20 per 1M output tokens.
- Images — $0 with the built-in FLUX Schnell on free Hugging Face GPUs (no key, no watermark; free GPU time is limited per day per device, a free Hugging Face token raises it) or with Cloudflare's free daily allowance. With your own key: from about $0.003 per image (FLUX Schnell on Replicate or fal.ai) up to $0.08 (top models such as FLUX 1.1 Pro Ultra, GPT Image, Imagen 4, Stable Image Ultra). You can also upload images made anywhere else.
- ElevenLabs, optional — more natural voices than the built-in free ones (which sound more synthetic): about 800–1000 characters per Short. Requires their paid plan (the cheapest is about $5 a month); its credits cover a few dozen Shorts.
- YouTube Data API, optional — search runs on the site's shared key with a daily cap. Your own key is free within Google's daily quota (10,000 units; one search uses about 100–110).
$0 per video on the built-in free AI, voices and images. With premium keys: usually $0.2–1.5 per video plus the ElevenLabs plan. Check the providers' websites for current prices before you start.
Prices are in US dollars; sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record: it handles your card, the invoice and the tax. We never see or store your card details.
7-day refunds: write to us within 7 days of a payment and we'll refund it. Cancel renewal in one click on the Billing page. We email you at least 5 days before every renewal.
Limits are counted per calendar month (UTC) and reset on the 1st. Nothing is charged above the limit: the service will ask you to wait for the new month or upgrade.
